Flannery also reads whole chapter books now. On the first day of Thanksgiving break, she got up and realized she had no school and her only homework was to read. So, she said, "Well, I know what I'm going to do!"

Huckleberry will randomly come and hug me and tell me he "likes" me. He also finally reached the point where he wants to marry Flannery. He was broken-hearted when we broke the news that he couldn't.
Yesterday, he got to use a "shawp" ax with his Papa. "Just a wittle one, Mom." he said, I think, to reassure me.
Atticus' greatest achievement at the moment is getting his hair wet in the bath without crying. Seriously, folks. This is a big deal.
Today, he also fell on the ice and came up laughing.
